The quality of his ideas was really good. The subtopics he used to convey the message were really good. Especially the part where he uses J.K Rowling and Michael Jordan as examples. He relates the two most important/influential people in any average students life. He also relates his and his wife's life to the message, which means he was trying to connect to the audience.
The presentation of ideas was wonderful as well but i personally felt that he stretched his speech a bit too long. His organization was also good, but he shouldn't have put the "health" message in between. Although it was okay but i think it seemed to cut of the tempo of the whole speech. His finish was really nice, it ended with hope for all kids.
He i think is one of the best speakers in the world. His english to me was flawless. Although his word choice was simple, i think the way he had written his speech was marvelous.
His voice, i think makes the difference in his speech. He has a great pace, great variation, and great confidence. Although in between in three places he mumbles and twice he forgets what to say so he stutters. But other than that he spoke really well.
The best thing was his gestures, poise, eye contact. The way he stood signified for someone calm yet dignified and elegant. His gestures gave him the bold confidence he showed in the speech. And his gestures actually made the impact of what he was saying greater.
In the end, i think it was a brilliant, relevant, and an inspiring speech. It could have been shortened, but i think what he said made up for it. Out of 10 i would give him 9 in Content, 9 in Presentation of Ideas, 10 in Quality of English, 9 in Voice, and 10 in Physical. So out of 50 i would give him 47. It was an excellent speech overall.
